MonkeyBot
Will I need help from an adult?
Yes , depending on your age and strength, you may need help from an adult.
I followed the instructions but my MonkeyBot is not moving forward, what should I do?
This could be because of several reasons:
- Because your batteries are not new and/or a little weak.
I therefore invite you to insert new batteries .
- Because the orange sockets are too tight and your MonkeyBot is not mobile enough.
I therefore invite you to slightly loosen the sockets .
- Because the red and black wires are installed backwards.
I invite you to check the connection of the red and black wires using the explanations in the instructions and the assembly video.
- Because the worm gear and the gear are not in contact with each other.
I therefore invite you to push the worm gear more or less so that it is well engaged with the axle gear.
- Because the MonkeyBot head axle is not inserted into the correct hole of the yellow pulley.
I therefore invite you to check that the axle of the MonkeyBot head is properly inserted into the middle hole of the yellow pulley .
- Because the nipples of the yellow pulleys are not opposite each other.
I therefore invite you to check that the nipple of one pulley is upwards and that the nipple of the other pulley is downwards . Visually, you should see one arm on top of the other.
My MonkeyBot gets its arms tangled when walking on the wire, what should I do?
This could be for several reasons:
- Because your thread is not tight enough.
I therefore invite you to tighten your thread as much as possible.
- Because your thread is not straight enough.
I therefore invite you to ensure that your wire is as horizontal as possible .
