Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need help from an adult?
Yes , depending on your age and strength, you may need help from an adult.
I followed the instructions but my RoulaBot is not moving forward, what should I do?
This could be because of several reasons:
- Because your batteries are not new and/or a little weak.
I therefore invite you to insert new batteries.
- Because the orange sockets are too tight and your RoulaBot is not mobile enough.
I therefore invite you to loosen the orange sockets .
- Because the red and black wires are installed backwards.
I invite you to check the connection of the red and black wires using the explanations and images in the instructions as well as the online assembly video. (Make sure that the wires do not touch the metal shell of the motor (only the notches otherwise it would cause a short circuit and prevent your RoulaBot from moving forward).
- Because the orange gear is too deep and cannot turn properly.
I therefore invite you to loosen the orange gear and give it space so that it is free to turn.
- Because the orange pinion and gear are not properly engaged.
I therefore invite you to loosen the orange pinion and put the gear and pinion in good contact.
My RoulaBot is moving too fast, what should I do?
If you find that the RoulaBot is moving too quickly, you can slow it down a little by tightening the wheels by pressing on them to bring them together.
My RoulaBot is spinning in place, why?
This could be because of several reasons:
- Because one wheel is more depressed than the other, creating an imbalance.
So I invite you to remove both wheels and insert them on each side at the same time.
- Because the small knife below the RoulaBot is not deep enough.
So I invite you to push the little knife all the way under your RoulaBot.
