CoinMunch
Will I need help from an adult?
Yes , depending on your age and strength, you may need help from an adult.
I followed the instructions but my CoinMunch is not working, what should I do?
This could be because of several reasons:
- Because your batteries are not new and/or a little weak.
I therefore invite you to insert new batteries .
- Because the orange sockets are too tight and your CoinMunch doesn't have the arms mobile enough.
I therefore invite you to slightly loosen the sockets .
- Because the red and black wires are installed backwards.
I invite you to check the connection of the red and black wires using the explanations and images in the instructions as well as the online assembly video.
- Because the small knife of the battery box is not pressed in.
So I invite you to stick the little knife in to activate your CoinMunch .
- Because the metal loops of the white wires are not in contact with the metal plates on the front of the CoinMunch arms.
I therefore invite you to check that the loops of the white wires are in contact with the metal plates at the front of the arms.
- Because the blue tee is not properly seated into the white motor rod.
I therefore invite you to press the blue tee firmly onto the white rod of the motor . The hook should be in contact with the metal part of the switch.
- Because the switch is placed upside down.
I invite you to check that the switch is in the right place and that the metal part is upwards.
The motor rod does not fall in front of the hole and I cannot insert my blue tee, what should I do?
If the motor rod and blue hook tee are not facing each other through the hole, then:
- either the bottom plate of the CoinMunch is installed upside down . I therefore invite you to review step 5.
- either the little yellow piece that comes out of the motor is not engaged in the first notch in the motor support. I therefore invite you to review step 5.
Otherwise you can follow the CoinMunch assembly video so you don't miss any steps.
When the CoinMunch eats a coin, it doesn't close its mouth, what should I do?
It is possible that at the end of its movement, the CoinMunch will not be able to close its mouth. This is because the hook, to the right of the CoinMunch, does not release the lower arm.
I therefore invite you to push the hook very slightly to the right to release the lower arm and thus close your mouth after swallowing the coin.
